Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing is key to providing client-centered care, and questions the traditional roles of provider and patient. This training describes the purpose of motivational interviewing in relation to our person-centered work, the principles of motivational interviewing, and how to best incorporate these interpersonal communication skills. This training will focus on peer-led, facilitated practice of motivational interviewing.
