LINCS HIV Infection and AIDS CDC Training

This unit provides information you will need in your work with patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection and resulting acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). You will learn about the characteristics of the HIV/AIDS and how HIV is transmitted from one person to another. The unit also covers the course of infection, testing and prevention methods, and information about case management.

LINCS- Syphilis Case Management and Visual Case Analysis (VCA)

The goal of this module is to improve your capacity to perform comprehensive syphilis case management, in order to prevent the further spread of syphilis within the sexual and social network of known cases. The first part of the module focuses on the steps of case management. In the second part, you will practice using an essential tool for disease intervention called visual case analysis (VCA). The two, case management and visual case analysis, go hand in hand to ensure that your investigations and interventions are thorough and effective.

LINCS PrEP, PEP, & U=U

Welcome to the LINCS Module for PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) , PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis, and U=U (Undetectable = Untransmittable).  This Module contains 2 lessons that will provide the knowledge you will need to deliver preventive measures for lowering risks regarding HIV in your work here at LINCS.

LINCS  is about prevention and it is our mission to inform our clients for the best possible health outcomes.  It is NOT our jobs to decide for them, we can only guide.  Delivery is the key!
