Adult Transgender Cultural Competence and Cultural Humility
This course is designed to educate service providers on important issues and trends affecting transgender people and their families, including several key issues related to the health and wellness of transgender communities.
The primary goals are to:
- Increase the SFDPH staff capacity to provide welcoming services to transgender individuals in a culturally appropriate way, and to
- Expand clinical knowledge and staff comfort levels to provide quality care to transgender individuals.
