TRAINER BIO: Braunz Courtney has been working in public health as a Harm Reductionist for 20 years. He is a member of the Black Harm Reduction Network (BHRN), on the Board of People with Lived Experience in Research (PLER) and the Executive Director of HEPPAC that services Contra Costa / Alameda and neighboring counties. His field of expertise include working with, People Who

Use Drugs, unhoused homeless, LQBTQIA, Youth and Reentry. Creating, implementing, and marketing, culturally appropriate programs that provide support that increase access to Prevention and Care services for the most disproportionately impacted BIPOC community throughout Northern California East Bay.
