Training Overview:
This training outlines an integrated approach to conducting case management for people who use drugs. This course details how to facilitate an integrated prevention counseling session. Critical counseling skills and concepts are explored in depth and role plays offer multiple opportunities to practice delivering case management and counseling for people who use drugs.
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Identify three applications of harm reduction principles to case management.
- Describe three ways that people who use drugs benefit from harm reduction case.
- Demonstrate three effective case management strategies in working with people who use drugs.
- Identify four common case management needs for people who use drugs.
ONLINE GROUP trainings are only open to SFDPH Staff and SFDPH-funded agency staff.
