Contingency Management Is Substance Use Treatment

May 29, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Description:
Decades of research show that contingency management (CM) is one of the most effective models of treating stimulant use disorder, yet it remains the least implemented of evidence-based substance use disorder treatments. CM is a behavioral intervention that provides motivational incentives contingent upon completing a goal or behavior, such as stopping stimulant use or engaging in treatment. This webinar will provide an overview of CM as a treatment modality, expertise and resources from local CM program providers, and insight from program participants who have experienced it firsthand.
