UCLA Health cardiologist, Dr. Jeffrey Harrell, defines cardiovascular disease and heart disease, reviews the risk factors of heart disease and the impact of heart disease on morbidity and mortality, and discusses heart disease in African Americans. He concludes his talk by reviewing steps that we can all take for optimal heart health.
